Job Summary

Cielito Lindo Mexican Cuisine is looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and experienced Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hospitality skills, a positive attitude, and solid knowledge of classic, contemporary, and signature cocktails.

We are looking for someone who can create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for our guests while delivering high-quality drinks, excellent service, and an authentic Mexican dining experience. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines, and Cielito Lindo’s quality standards.

Create and execute classic cocktails, contemporary cocktails, Mexican-inspired drinks, and signature house cocktails.

Take guest orders promptly and courteously while providing excellent customer service.

Recommend drinks, tequila, mezcal, cocktails, and menu items to guests when needed.

Operate POS systems for order entry, payments, and cash transactions.

Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.

Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal requirements.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, utensils, garnishes, and work surfaces.

Restock bar supplies, garnishes, liquor, beer, wine, and other beverage items as needed.

Assist with inventory control and communicate low-stock items to management.

Follow food safety, sanitation,



and food handling standards during beverage preparation and service.

Support the service team when needed, including helping with food running or guest service during busy periods.

Create a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere that reflects the hospitality of Cielito Lindo.

Skills & Requirements

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required.

Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary drinks, and signature cocktail preparation.

Experience with tequila, mezcal, Mexican cocktails, margaritas, micheladas, and Latin-inspired beverages is an asset.

Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using POS systems.

Basic math skills for cash handling, payment processing, and inventory counts.

Strong communication skills with guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management.

Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and food safety standards.

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain a clean bar station.

A positive attitude, robust work ethic, and passion for hospitality.

About the Role

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour
