Asset Management Lead

Position Type: Full Time

Location: Canada (remote; ability to work within the Eastern time zone required)

Position Description The Asset Management Lead will oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of operations and maintenance (O&M;) services for Eneon’s battery energy storage systems (BESS) across North America. This individual will manage assets holistically, supervising all field service activities pertaining to operational BESS. Core objectives include guiding preventative and corrective maintenance activities, managing customer relationships, ensuring contract execution, optimizing lifecycle performance, and scaling service capabilities in line with projected growth in O&M.;

This is a cross-functional role that requires collaboration across internal teams to achieve company objectives.

Key responsibilities include

Customer Relationships and Contract Execution

- Serve as the primary customer contact for all O&M; service delivery matters.
- Ensure alignment between contractual obligations and service delivery.
- Manage customer expectations as O&M; portfolio scales.

O&M; Program and Process Development




- Apply established O&M; processes and identify project/portfolio level improvements to scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of O&M; and warranty-management practices based on project experience.
- Coordinate with the Monitoring and Performance team to ensure O&M; readiness post-commissioning.
- Define project maintenance requirements, coordinate priorities, and verify completion and documentation of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Commercial Management
- Own project/portfolio-level O&M; financial performance, including budget, forecast, cost control, and margin.
- Track contractual obligations, service levels, exclusions, and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Support invoicing, change orders, renewals, and commercial discussions within delegated authority.
- Identify project/portfolio-level opportunities to improve cost, reliability, and service performance.
- Escalate material contractual, financial, and scope risks where necessary.

Warranty and Asset Lifecycle Oversight
- Coordinate project/portfolio-level warranty claims, maintain claim documentation, track resolution, and escalate recurring or systemic issues to the appropriate technical and operational owners.
- Develop and maintain project/portfolio-level asset plans addressing maintenance requirements, known risks, obsolescence, spare parts, remediation, and lifecycle priorities.
- Focus on legacy project issues and structured remediation planning.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, O&M; service delivery, contract management, or energy services.
- Technical education through an engineering degree,



engineering technology diploma, skilled-trades certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience with battery energy storage systems, renewable energy, power systems, or other complex industrial assets.
- Experience managing the commercial and operational performance of service contracts, including budgets, forecasts, cost control, and margin.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain project maintenance plans, service schedules, asset records, and corrective-action tracking.
- Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices for electrical, mechanical, controls, and communications systems.
- Experience coordinating warranty claims, technical issue resolution, and remediation activities with OEMs, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including drawings, single-line diagrams, equipment manuals, maintenance requirements, and service reports.
- Solid financial, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple customers and projects.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively across multiple internal functions.
