Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual (French and English) Claims Processing Administrator. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid work environment with three days working from our office and two days working from home.

As a Claims Processing Administrator, you willadjudicate claims related to our specialized program insurance products. You will provide claim support to customers and communicate with financial institutions, dealership personnel and other service providers.

If you speak French and are willing to obtain your RIBO license, are detail oriented, reliable and committed to serving customers, this is an excellent opportunity. This position is a full time, permanent hybrid role. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and obtaining the required license for the position.

Duties

- Providing customer service to both internal and external customers including Insurers, Financial Institutions, Dealers, Policy Holders, Wholesalers and our field team of Business Development Managers
- Examining claim forms and supporting documents submitted by Insurers, Dealerships and/or Financial Institutions
- Interpreting policy definitions, exclusions and preparing recommendations for proper customer service
- Documenting all communications and correspondence with Dealers, Customers, Claims Representatives, Financial Institutions and Wholesalers
- Calculating and preparing settlement reports and recommendations to Insurers
- Preparing settlement letters to Financial Institutions to accompany settlement cheques
- Promptly handling inquiries from Customers, Dealers, Financial Institutions, Business Development Managers and Insurers with respect to the claims process, claim status, coverage and complaints
- Processing settlement cheques, coordinating the car auction process and cancellations

Qualifications

- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- College or University training and two years of work experience, preferably in a claims setting
- Successfully obtaining a RIBO level 1 license is a condition of employment. The company will pay for the program and your first two weeks of employment will be spent taking a preparatory course and writing the exam.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French. A French and English assessment is a part of the recruitment process.
- Ability to administer proper telephone protocol and follow standard procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter, adaptable and reliable
- Willingness to collaborate as a strong team player
- Quality focused with a keen attention to detail
- Capable of developing strong knowledge of the principles and practices of the claims department
- Ability to exercise good judgment, recognize scope of authority, and protect confidential information
