Role Description The Bookkeeper is a full-time, in office role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. Day-to-day tasks include recording financial transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements.

The role involves working with accounting software to update ledgers, track payables and receivables, and ensure data is current and complete.



The Bookkeeper will collaborate with operations and management to provide financial information, support budget monitoring, and help ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards. This position requires consistent onsite presence to work closely with the team and support timely financial and administrative processes.

Qualifications

- Strong bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and organizing financial records
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and basic financial reports
- Proficiency with accounting software and related tools used for finance and record keeping ( Quickbooks & Excel)
- Knowledge of finance principles and ability to post and review journal entries (accounting)
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Toronto, ON and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or cold storage environment is an asset
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
