Job Overview

As a Part-Time Budtender at our 124 King Street location, you will be the friendly face and knowledgeable guide for our customers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help customers make informed choices, enhance their experience, and foster loyalty. This role offers a lively environment where your communication skills and passion for cannabis culture can truly shine.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage to ensure safe and satisfying experiences
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight products effectively
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product filing
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable options




- Follow all regulations and legalities surrounding the sales of cannabis and nicotine products

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a bonus
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in hospitality or cannabis-related environments
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and filing tasks
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform heavy lifting as required during shifts
- Basic computer operation skills
- Demonstrated time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and computer skills are highly desirable
- Multilingual capabilities are considered an asset to serve diverse customer bases
