Lead building science and building enclosure projects from concept and assessment through construction completion and project close-out. Act as the primary liaison with clients, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Perform building envelope assessments, thermal and hygrothermal analysis, and technical evaluations of existing structures.
Develop building envelope details, rehabilitation strategies, repair designs, drawings, and specifications. Conduct site investigations, construction reviews, contract administration, and quality assurance activities. Prepare technical reports,
budgets, studies, and recommendations while coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with building science education considered an asset. ~ 7+ years of building science, building envelope, restoration, or rehabilitation consulting experience. (May consider slightly less with the right project experience) ~ Demonstrated experience managing projects and coordinating clients, consultants, and contractors. ~ Strong understanding of building enclosure systems, constructability, rehabilitation design, and contract administration. ~ Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and project management skills with a client-focused mindset.
