Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic construction and woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets, furniture, and built-in storage solutions that meet precise specifications. Your expertise will contribute to transforming client visions into beautifully finished products, ensuring durability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately produce cabinetry and woodworking projects.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinets using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and woodworking equipment.
- Measure spaces accurately for proper fitting of cabinetry and related fixtures.
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, finishing, painting, or staining to enhance appearance and longevity.
- Install cabinetry securely in residential or commercial settings, ensuring alignment and stability.
- Perform concrete forming, masonry work, drywall installation, roofing, siding, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical wiring or caulking as needed for project completion.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during material handling and assembly processes while adhering to safety standards.




- Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs and timelines based on schematics and project scope.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Experience

- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking or cabinet making with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating and technical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of construction processes including drywall installation, flooring installation (tile or wood), roofing, siding or masonry is highly desirable.
- Previous handyman experience or multi-trade skills such as plumbing or electrical work will be considered an asset.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely along with physical stamina for demanding tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites and woodworking environments.
