Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and talented Cameraman/Woman/Editor to join our creative team. In this paid role, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality footage, editing compelling videos, and producing visual content that highlights our museum’s exhibits and events. Your expertise in camera operation and editing software will help us tell vibrant stories that inspire and educate our audience.
Responsibilities
- Operate professional video cameras to record museum exhibits, events, interviews, and promotional content
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Enhance video quality with color correction, sound editing, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and other Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Create engaging visual layouts and graphics with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for multimedia presentations
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts aligned with the museum’s branding goals
- Maintain all camera equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and storage after shoots
- Manage project timelines to deliver high-quality content on schedule
Requirements
- Proven experience operating professional video cameras and recording equipment
- Strong proficiency in video editing software including Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro
- Skilled in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite as a whole for comprehensive media production
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Familiarity with photography editing tools like Adobe Lightroom for still images
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and creative storytelling skills
