Returning to Edmonton for university? Looking for steady, hands-on work after the summer? Or just ready for a reliable job with a local company?

Hybrid Infusions is the independent Edmonton team behind Virtue Cannabis. We produce regulated cannabis products for the Canadian market, and we’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented people to join our Processing team.

As a Processing Technician, you’ll help transform harvested cannabis into products ready to be handed over to our Distribution team. Depending on the day, you may be trimming and preparing cannabis, rolling products, packaging, preparing production rooms, completing records, or cleaning and sanitizing equipment.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare rooms, materials, tools, and equipment according to the production schedule.
- Inspect products during processing and packaging to support quality and consistency.
- Complete accurate production records, product counts, output tracking, and sanitation documentation.
- Operate processing equipment safely and assist with its routine cleaning and maintenance.
- Use cleaning chemicals and sanitizing agents safely and according to established procedures.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout processing areas and shared spaces.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, safety requirements, and HACCP-based processes.
- Move between tasks as production priorities change and support additional processing activities as needed.

What the Work Is Really Like This is hands-on,

detail-focused work in a clean and highly regulated facility. You’ll be on your feet for much of your shift, and some tasks involve repetitive movements or extended periods of concentration.

The right person takes pride in doing consistent work, follows procedures without cutting corners, and is willing to move between tasks as the team’s priorities change.

- Hands-on training - you don’t need previous cannabis experience.
- Opportunities to learn different stages of cannabis processing.
- Room to grow within the company.
- A collaborative workplace that values respect, reliability, and teamwork.
- The chance to build experience in Canada’s regulated cannabis industry.

What You Bring

- You’re based in Edmonton or can reliably commute to our facility.
- You’re dependable, punctual, and able to work within a structured production schedule.
- You can stay focused while performing repetitive, detail-oriented work.
- You’re comfortable standing, walking, trimming, rolling, cleaning, and packaging throughout your shift.
- You can safely lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg) and perform movements such as bending, kneeling, and squatting.
- You’re willing to wear required PPE, including lab coat, gloves, face mask, and eye protection.
