NeoHealth Heart Team is a cardiology clinic in Sudbury, Ontario.

We are looking for a cardiac sonographer to enhance our team.

With four cardiologists the clinic is a local leader in cardiovascular health care. Our experts cover general cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardio-oncology, heart failure and heart failure as well as adult congenital heart disease.

We offer highly professional, friendly and supportive team that will provide top-quality patient care. We are equipped with the latest generation Philips ultrasound machines which offer contrast imaging, strain and transthoracic 3D.

Salary payment will be competitive. We are looking for full-time long-term committed professionals. We can accommodate personal preferences.

The office has three level 3 trained echo cardiologists. The candidates can expect highest level feedback, weekly echo rounds and regular case review/ teaching and ongoing support for their professional growth.

Requirement and expectations

- Graduate of a recognized Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography Program
- Must be eligible for certification for cardiac imaging with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
- Member in good standing or eligible for membership with the CMRITO
- Must be fully licensed or eligible for licensing to practice in Ontario, Canada
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and teamwork, excellent bedside manners




- Demonstrated individual leadership skills Outstanding bedside manners and professionalism
- Must be familiar and follow patient data confidentiality and infection prevention standards

Key tasks will include:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms on patients and university research participants
- Perform advanced studies including contrast echos, bubble studies, strain imaging and 3D imaging. Limited training can be provided.
- Perform stress echocardiography
- Manage and maintain the ultrasound unit
- Recognize and correct artefacts
- Provide a preliminary report for the physician
- Maintain regular interaction with the supervising cardiologist to ensure top-quality care
- Participate in echo rounds and maintenance of certification activities, quality control activities and continuous medical education opportunities
- Support the healthcare team to provide best possible patient care
