We are seeking Personal Support Workers to assist a female employer to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

The employer The ideal candidate for this position should possess skills such as reliability, responsibility, patience, empathy, willingness to perform messy tasks, attention to detail, strong communication skills, physical strength, and a willingness to learn.

Location:

- Maple Ridge (Near Albion Park)

Shifts:

- Weekend Split Shift
- 10:00am-1:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm
- Weekday morning shift
- Monday and Tuesday 8:00am-11:00am
- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00AM-10:00am
- Afternoon/Evening Split shift
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday (1:00-4:00pm, 6:00pm-9:00pm)

Compensation:

- $22.00-$26.00 hour based on experience

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Daily personal care such as showering, occasional catheter care, and changing clothes
- Dressing and grooming (knows how to braid and apply make up preferred)
- Assessing skin and wound care
- Donning/Doffing braces and/or compression socks
- Assistance with B12 and Repatha injections - scheduled throughout the month
- Medication Administration
- Light housekeeping such as laundry/changing sheets
- Meal Preparation
- Assistance with Groceries/Errands
- Assistance with Medical Appointments

Required Qualifications:





- Combination of healthcare education background and experience - required
- Class 5 driver's license and reliable means of transportation - required
- Experience with Injections - preferred
- Comfortable with Aqua Therapy and Assisting in Pool - preferred
- Fluent in English both written and verbal - preferred
