Purpose: We are looking for an upper-year apprentice carpenter who is a self-starter with an energetic, results-oriented work style, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Characteristics Needed to Succeed:
- Previous work experience as a carpenter.
- Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials.
- Ability to work in Fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines while on shift.
- Partial completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program.
- 20/20 vision.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Read out blueprints, drawings,



and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- Lay our flooring, roofing, or drywalls to ensure they are level and compatible.
- Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required and install them where designated.
- Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
- Inspect the workspace.

Vulnerable Sector criminal record check is required. Job Type: Full time

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
