Position Overview

Modavie is looking for a friendly and detail-focused Cashier to help make every customer interaction smooth from start to finish. This role combines accurate payment handling with guest service, making it a good fit for someone who is comfortable working with people, stays organized, and can remain composed during busy periods.

Your Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional assistance
- Process customer bills and payments accurately
- Handle cash, debit, credit, and other approved payment methods
- Operate the POS system and enter transactions carefully
- Verify bills and confirm payment details before completing transactions
- Answer basic questions about menu items, orders, and restaurant services
- Assist with takeout or pickup orders when required
- Communicate order adjustments and customer requests to the appropriate team
- Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and well supplied
- Maintain accurate cash-handling practices throughout the shift
- Assist with receipts, refunds, or corrections according to restaurant procedures
- Support front-of-house staff during busy service periods
- Help with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties
- Follow company standards for customer service, hygiene, and workplace safety

Qualifications
- Previous cashier, restaurant, retail,



or customer-service experience is an asset
- Comfortable handling payments and using POS systems
- Strong attention to numbers, order details, and accuracy
- Friendly and professional communication style
- Able to multitask in a busy restaurant environment
- Calm and courteous when assisting customers
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn restaurant procedures and menu offerings

Pay: $16.60-$24.14 per hour
