Job Summary

Moxies Square One Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Cashier to support our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will provide welcoming customer service, process orders and payments accurately, and help keep the service area organized. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with guests and can remain calm and efficient during busy restaurant hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide courteous customer service
- Process customer orders and ensure details are entered accurately
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions efficiently
- Accept cash, debit, credit, and other approved payment methods
- Provide receipts and assist with basic payment-related questions
- Confirm orders and communicate special requests when needed
- Coordinate pickup and takeaway orders
- Check orders for accuracy before serving or handing them to customers
- Respond to customer questions in a friendly and professional manner
- Keep the cashier station and surrounding service area clean and organized
- Restock receipts, packaging, utensils, and other front-counter supplies
- Assist restaurant teammates during busy periods
- Support opening, closing, cleaning, and general front-of-house duties
- Follow company standards for food safety, sanitation, and customer service

Qualifications
- Previous cashier, restaurant, hospitality,



or customer-service experience is an asset
- Friendly and qualified communication skills
- Comfortable working with POS and payment systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
