Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. This a customer facing role, you will be responsible for helping customers with their cellphone requirements. You will also diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile devices, ensuring that they function optimally for our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of customer service, mobile technology, including various operating systems and hardware components, along with excellent problem-solving skills.

Duties

- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with mobile devices, including software and hardware problems.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform repairs on various mobile devices.
- Analyze schematics and technical documentation to understand device functionality.
- Conduct software troubleshooting for iOS and other operating systems to resolve customer issues.
- Assist customers in retail settings by providing knowledgeable advice on mobile devices and accessories.
- Maintain an organized workspace while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Stay updated on the latest mobile technology trends and advancements.

Requirements





- Proficiency in working with Windows operating systems and familiarity with various computer hardware components.
- Experience in analyzing schematics related to mobile devices is preferred.
- Strong skills in software troubleshooting for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Skills for swapping hardware in mobile devices such as screen, battery, charging port and backglass.
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- A passion for technology and a desire to stay current with industry developments.
