What You’ll Do

- Collaborate closely with the Rigging Lead to develop and implement rigged assets that adhere to the technical guidelines of the target platform and engine, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Actively seek and incorporate feedback from the Rigging Lead, peers, and art leads to continuously refine and improve rigging solutions.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues with rigged assets, ensuring content integrity and conducting thorough testing on the target platform to guarantee stability and quality.
- Participate effectively in team meetings, contributing to a collaborative environment and fostering clear communication across disciplines.
- Consistently meet project deadlines and milestones, demonstrating reliability and commitment to project success.
- Document new rigging tools, techniques, and workflows,



contributing to knowledge sharing and the continuous improvement of departmental processes.
- Serve as a positive and creative force within the team, inspiring innovation and contributing to a dynamic work culture.

What You’ll Bring

- 3+ years of professional experience as a Character Rigger or equivalent, with a proven track record in game development.
- A Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Associate of Arts (AA) degree is preferred, or a compelling portfolio that demonstrates an industry-standard level of rigging expertise.
- Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software, coupled with a high capacity to quickly learn and adapt to recent tools and processes.
- Strong foundational knowledge of human and animal anatomy, crucial for creating believable and functional character rigs.
- Demonstrated expertise in clean and efficient smooth skinning practices, ensuring high-quality deformations.
- A genuine passion for the game industry and a keen understanding of current industry trends and emerging technologies.
- A proactive work ethic, characterized by strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges.
- The ability and willingness to quickly learn and integrate into existing in-studio workflows and proprietary tools.

Bonus Points For

- Experience working with a leading game engine, demonstrating practical application of rigging within a real-time workplace.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL), used for automation and tool development.
- Hands-on experience with 3D animation software, providing a deeper understanding of animators’ needs.




- Knowledge of cloth simulation or other dynamic simulation techniques to enhance character realism.
