Duties

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities tailored to the individual needs of children, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive guidance and interactive learning experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and specialists to develop personalized care plans and educational strategies
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and behavioral observations using computer-based systems
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety regulations and classroom protocols
- Lead classroom activities that promote language development in English, French, or bilingual settings, encouraging communication skills among children
- Use strong organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently while fostering a lively, inclusive classroom atmosphere

Requirements





- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or similar environments
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education needs
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; solid communication skills are essential for effective interaction with children, families, and team members
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to guide children confidently and support team collaboration
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently within time constraints
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and reporting purposes
- Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with classroom management software or digital record-keeping tools
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and developmental stages
