Fredex Construction Inc. is a locally owned and operated civil contractor proudly serving public and private clients throughout the Okanagan Valley and surrounding areas. We specialize in a broad range of civil construction projects and are committed to delivering exceptional results with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and having fun while doing it.

We are currently hiring for two key positions:

1. Experienced Pipe Layer

2. Civil Construction Labourer

Whether you're an experienced pipe layer with a background in utility installations, or a motivated labourer ready to grow in the civil construction industry, we want to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For

Pipe Layer

- Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction as a pipe layer
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Deep utility installations (e.g., piping, manholes, catch basins)
- Shallow utility installations (e.g., conduits, vaults, service boxes)
- Civil earthworks (bulk excavations, grading, shaping, restorations)
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Class 5 BC Driver’s License (minimum)

Civil Construction Labourer

- Physically fit and experienced with:
- Hand digging, lifting materials, running tools and compactors
- Supporting crews in utility installations, restorations, landscaping
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and complete paperwork accurately
- Civil construction experience is preferred




- Flexible schedule and willingness to take on diverse tasks
- Clean driver’s abstract and dependable transportation
- Additional certifications are an asset (First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS, etc.)
- Equipment operation experience (bobcat, excavator) is an asset

Additional Requirements for All Applicants

- Must have CSA-approved safety boots

Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour

- Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
