Nordic Energy Canada Corp. is currently hiring an experienced Class 1 Tank Truck Operator for local production work in the Grande Prairie area.

This position is ideal for an experienced tank truck operator looking for steady local work with the ability to be home every night.

Position Overview

As a Class 1 Tank Truck Operator, you will be responsible for safely hauling production fluids between field locations and designated facilities. Operators are expected to work independently, follow company and client procedures, complete required documentation, and maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism.

This is local production work – no long-haul or extended periods away from home.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 tank truck and equipment
- Haul production fluids to and from field locations
- Complete loading, unloading and fluid transfer operations
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip and ongoing equipment inspections
- Complete required field tickets, logs and documentation accurately
- Follow Nordic Energy, client and site-specific safe operating procedures
- Maintain compliance with Hours of Service, TDG and transportation requirements
- Identify and report equipment deficiencies, hazards and incidents
- Maintain clean and professional equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, clients and field personnel

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s Licence




- Previous tank truck / fluid hauling experience preferred
- Production hauling experience is considered a strong asset
- Valid industry safety tickets as required
- Acceptable driver’s abstract
- Strong understanding of secure loading, unloading and fluid transfer procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
- Reliable, safety-conscious and professional
- Ability to work outdoors and in changing weather and field conditions
