We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our energetic team! In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a funeral home in Burlington. Your energy and dedication will help ensure that our spaces are spotless and well-organized, creating a positive experience for everyone who visits or works here.

In this role it is very important that you will feel comfortable with diseased bodies on occasion in the visitation rooms.

Duties

- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to promote hygiene and safety.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners to keep areas tidy and odor-free.
- Clean restrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and ensure they meet health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, break rooms, and offices.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times.




- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management.

Skills

- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly preferred.
- Solid attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift.

Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
