Full-Time Closing Line Cook — $20/hour Guaranteed

One Night Stan’s Bar Room & Divery is hiring a full-time closing line cook for our busy 17th Avenue bar.

This is a 5-day-a-week closing position with guaranteed hours, working 6:00 PM–2:00 AM. You’ll be responsible for running the kitchen independently during your shift, including service, prep, stocking, cleaning, and closing.

We’re looking for an experienced cook who is comfortable working solo, staying organized, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly without constant supervision.

Schedule

- 5 shifts per week
- 6:00 PM–2:00 AM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Friday and Saturday availability is mandatory
- The other three shifts are flexible around your availability

Pay & Benefits
- $20/hour guaranteed ($15/hour wage + $5/hour guaranteed tips)

Responsibilities
- Run the kitchen independently during the closing shift
- Prepare food according to bill flow and maintain consistent quality
- Prepare burgers, sandwiches, salads, fried foods, and other menu items




- Complete prep and stocking for the following shift
- Complete nightly kitchen cleaning and closing duties
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies need to be ordered
- Assist with weekly food ordering and inventory when required

Requirements
- 3+ years of line cook experience required
- Previous professional kitchen experience
- Comfortable working alone and running a kitchen independently
- Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy service
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Friday and Saturday availability is mandatory
- Comfortable working late-night closing shifts
- Experience with food ordering and weekly inventory is an asset
