Duties
- Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment with precision and attention to detail
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate parts
- Program CNC machines using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and G-code to optimize machining processes
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct quality control checks using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement devices to verify part dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Requirements
- Proven experience operating Haas CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics accurately
- Proficiency in CNC programming, including editing G-code for efficient machining cycles
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, and measuring instruments
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements, tolerances, and machining parameters
