Insight Global is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Burlington, Ontario. Our clients a leading manufacturer of elevator components and is currently expanding production capacity due to significant business growth and long-term project demand. This individual will play a critical role within the fabrication department, operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality custom metal components while ensuring products meet precise engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced operator who can work independently, maintain a strong quality focus, and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with tolerances Maintain quality standards and identify defects or discrepancies before products move to downstream manufacturing processes Collaborate with supervisors, welders, assemblers, and other production personnel to meet production objectives Contribute ideas for process improvements, efficiencies,



and best practices within the fabrication department 5+ years of experience operating press brake machinery in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting ~ Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings ~ Experience working within precision metal fabrication environments ~ Ability to perform measurements, quality inspections, and self-verification of completed work ~ Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection tools ~ Strong understanding of manufacturing quality standards and tolerances ~ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision ~ Experience in custom fabrication or job-shop manufacturing environments Leadership or mentoring experience within a manufacturing setting Process improvement or continuous improvement experience We are hiring for 2 different shifts: The expected hour rate for this position falls between $34.00 - $40.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium for afternoons Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
