Community & Operations Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary The Community & Operations Coordinator supports the Community Nurse Manager in coordinating CareHop's local and community operations. This is a people-focused role combining client support, operational coordination, Home Cleaning assessments, community programs, staff support, and communications.
The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys working with and supporting people, is highly organized, comfortable with technology, and takes a proactive approach to solving problems and following things through.

Key Responsibilities: Local Operations & Administrative Coordination
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support to the Community Nurse Manager.
- Coordinate client and staff follow-ups, meetings, documentation, trackers, onboarding activities, and outstanding action items.
- Support staff onboarding, orientation, training coordination, competency tracking, clinical audits, and quality or operational initiatives.
- Follow up on incidents, audits, client feedback, accreditation activities, and identified operational needs.
- Assist clients and families with service, payment, billing, account, and other service-related questions, involving the appropriate team members when needed.
- Help keep communication and activities moving effectively between the Community Nurse Manager, office team, field staff, clients, and families.
Home Cleaning Assessment & Client Support
- Coordinate and conduct in-home assessments following initial intake by the Scheduling team.
- Understand clients' cleaning needs, priorities, home environment, and service requirements.
- Explain CareHop's Home Cleaning services, options, rates, and expectations.
- Support client sign-up, onboarding, documentation, and next steps.
- Follow up with clients regarding service quality, satisfaction, and changing needs.
Community Programs & Engagement
- Coordinate CareHop's Lights On for Seniors program, providing free Home Cleaning to eligible low-income seniors.
- Coordinate inquiries, referrals, client communication, scheduling, and follow-up.
- Organize CareHop Health & Wellness Clinics, workshops, information sessions, and other community activities.
- Build relationships with community organizations and referral partners and help keep CareHop and its services top of mind in the community.
- Represent CareHop professionally at community activities and events.
Communications, Learning & Content Support
- Support communications related to community programs, clients, staff education, and local initiatives.
- Coordinate short educational videos and recording sessions with CareHop's clinical team and other subject-matter experts.
- Assist with basic editing, captions, uploading,
and organization of educational content.
- Help maintain CareHop's internal Learning Hub and public educational content.
Who We're Looking For Previous healthcare or home-care experience is not required. Recent university and college graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Is a proactive, practical problem-solver who takes ownership
- Is comfortable with technology, Microsoft 365, and learning new digital tools
- Listens well, communicates clearly, and builds positive relationships
- Can manage multiple priorities while keeping track of details
- Is dependable, qualified, eager to learn, and works well as part of a supportive team
Experience in customer service, hospitality, community services, administration, client coordination, events, or another people-focused role is an asset, but not required. A valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable access to transportation are preferred due to in-home assessments and community activities.

Pay: $45,760.00-$52,000.00 per year
