Construction Site Lead / Working Foreman
Job Type: Full time or Part-Time
Location: Lower Mainland & Vancouver Island, BC

Overview
Seaforth Construction is seeking a dependable and organized Construction Site Lead / Working Foreman to oversee daily site operations while actively participating in carpentry and general construction activities. The successful candidate will coordinate trades, maintain project schedules, ensure quality workmanship, and support project managers in delivering projects safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
•Supervise and coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, labourers, and site personnel.
•Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, finishing, renovations, and general construction tasks.
•Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
•Coordinate materials, equipment, and deliveries to maintain project schedules.
•Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
•Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
•Complete daily site reports, deficiency lists, and progress updates.
•Communicate effectively with project managers, consultants, clients, and trades.
•Assist with project scheduling and sequencing of work activities.
•Train and mentor apprentices and junior workers as required.
•Identify and resolve site issues proactively.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
Requirements
•Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
•Hands-on carpentry experience in commercial, institutional, renovation, or residential construction.
•Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
•Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
•Valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
•Experience using smartphones, tablets, and construction project software is an asset.
•Occupational First Aid certification is an asset.
