Why You Will Love Our Organization
Consumer Intelligence Group (CiG) is a Canadian data and technology company helping organizations find and acquire their next best customers. We are a small, experienced, 100% remote Canadian team. People at CiG have broad ownership, work directly with senior leaders and subject-matter experts, and are expected to continually improve how work gets done.
Our intelligentVIEW platform brings together Canadian consumer intelligence, audience planning, targeting, activation, and measurement to help organizations make better customer acquisition decisions. AI is becoming central to how we operate. We are redesigning workflows so AI and automation can handle more repetitive production work, allowing our team to focus on higher-value thinking, creativity, and customer impact.
The Impact You Will Have
You will play a key role in helping us scale how we create, manage, and deliver content across the organization and help us build the systems, workflows, templates, and AI-enabled processes that make great content easier to produce, maintain, and scale. You’ll identify opportunities to streamline repetitive work, apply the right AI and automation tools, establish quality controls, and document repeatable processes so that the work can continue to scale beyond you.
Work closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales - bringing an independent, solutions-oriented mindset to each project. Rather than simply executing requests, you’ll help determine how the work should be done, create efficient ways of working, and continuously improve the process.
Your impact will be measured not only by the quality of what you produce, but by how much you help the organization move faster, work smarter, and scale without adding unnecessary complexity or resources.
What You Will Do
We are looking for a hands-on content and creative operations professional who can turn complex product, data, sales, and marketing ideas into transparent, compelling, and visually credible communication - this is not a people management role, as you will be an individual direct contributor.
This role sits within Product - You will build the content system and produce the content establishing templates, standards, source materials, AI-enabled workflows, and QA processes while creating the presentations, copy, visuals, training materials, product education, and digital content CiG needs day to day.
You should be comfortable taking rough or incomplete input and independently turning it into a strong, near-final result. AI accelerates the work, but you own the thinking, judgment, and quality of the final output.
What You’ll Own
Partner with Product, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and company leadership to turn complex or incomplete information into communication people can understand and use.
You may start with an SME conversation, product demo, research, customer feedback, technical notes, rough presentation, or early idea. You’ll determine the story, structure, level of detail, and best format - whether that’s a presentation, diagram, article, training video, product explainer, or another format.
- Create the infrastructure that makes high-quality content faster, more consistent, and easier to reuse across CiG.
- Build reusable presentation, document, visual, and content templates.
- Create trusted source content and modular assets that can support multiple outputs.
- Establish practical brand, editorial, visual,
and production standards.
- Develop AI-assisted workflows, prompts, and processes for recurring needs.
- Identify opportunities to automate, template, simplify, or eliminate work.
- Establish clear QA, publishing, versioning, and source-of-truth practices.
The objective is to reduce one-off production and continually improve how content gets created. Your work will support four connected areas:
Customer Success: Training videos, tutorials, onboarding, product walkthroughs, FAQs, and self-service education.
Sales: Presentation systems, solution materials, one-pagers, use cases, diagrams, demo content, and reusable assets.
Marketing: Website, LinkedIn, articles, case studies, visual content, and authoritative source content designed for modern organic search and AEO.
Product: Product explainers, demonstrations, documentation, release content, FAQs, and source-of-truth materials that can support Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.
This is a hands-on role. You don’t need to be a specialist designer, motion artist, or qualified videographer, but you do need strong visual judgement and the ability to create polished business content yourself.
You’ll create and refine presentations, one-pagers, diagrams, infographics, website and social graphics, product demonstrations, training videos, screen recordings, and light video edits. You understand information hierarchy, sequencing, typography, and layout - and know when a visual makes an idea clearer rather than simply more decorative.
What You Will Bring
We expect approximately 4–7 years of relevant professional experience, but demonstrated capability matters more than tenure. We are open to candidates with different backgrounds who can show the judgement, independence, and cross-disciplinary skills required for the role.
Strong candidates will demonstrate
- Excellent writing, editing, and editorial judgement.
- Strong visual and information-design judgement.
- Hands-on presentation, graphic, document, and basic video production capability.
- Ability to understand and simplify complex B2B, product, data, or technical concepts.
- Real production experience using generative AI beyond basic prompting.
- Experience creating content across multiple formats and channels.
- A natural instinct for templates, reuse, workflow improvement, and automation.
- Strong QA skills and ownership of final quality.
- Experience with B2B SaaS or technology, customer education, sales enablement, website/CMS publishing, AEO, knowledge management, or light automation is valuable but not mandatory.
You may come from content operations, digital or multimedia content, product marketing, product education, creative operations, content design, instructional design, or an adjacent discipline. We are more interested in the underlying capability than a specific previous title.
You are:
- Editorially decisive. You can identify the real message, simplify complexity, and remove content that does not help the audience.
- Visually disciplined. You know what strong business communication looks like and can improve structure,
hierarchy, density, and presentation.
- Systems-minded. Repetitive work makes you think about templates, reusable components, automation, and better source content.
- Curious and experimental. You are willing to try new tools and approaches, but adopt them based on results rather than novelty.
- Resourceful and autonomous. You can receive an objective, incomplete brief, or imperfect source material and determine how best to accomplish it without waiting for highly detailed instructions.
- Quality-driven and accountable. AI-generated does not mean automatically ready to publish. You take ownership of anything that ultimately reaches a customer or the market.
We’re looking for someone who uses AI to improve the workflow, not just the first draft. You’ll use generative AI for research synthesis, drafting, restructuring, adaptation, scripting, visual development, and production support. You’ll build repeatable workflows, pragmatically test new AI, creative, and automation tools, and standardize those that genuinely improve quality, speed, or reuse.
