The quality lab features two DCC Coordinate Measuring Machines with PC-DMIS programming software and Datapage statistical process software, enabling detailed reporting of key process capability values. Team members work in a technically advanced environment dedicated to precision, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Role Description The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer is a full-time, in office role based in London, ON. This role is responsible for developing, modifying, and optimizing CMM programs using PC-DMIS to inspect precision machined components and assemblies. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating CMM equipment, performing dimensional inspections, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T;, and documenting inspection results using statistical process tools such as Datapage.

The CMM Programmer collaborates closely with production and quality teams to resolve measurement issues, support root cause analysis,



and ensure that parts meet customer and OEM specifications. Additional responsibilities include maintaining CMM equipment, updating inspection procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the quality lab.

Qualifications

- Strong measurement and inspection skills, including Measurements and Inspection, with experience in precision manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with Gauges and Calibration, ensuring accurate setup, verification, and maintenance of measurement tools and CMM equipment.
- Solid understanding of Quality Control practices, including in-process inspections, first-off/last-off verification, and use of statistical process control data.
- Experience programming and operating CMMs, preferably with PC-DMIS, and familiarity with Datapage or similar statistical reporting software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;, and apply dimensional tolerancing in inspection programs.
- Previous experience in CNC machining or metal fabrication environments is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, Metrology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in London, ON, and communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams.
