Summary The Coordinator, Social Media Production is a temporary full-time position that contributes to live on-site content capture by supporting communication, organization and logistics for on-site social production. This role is responsible for enabling high-volume content creation and distribution across NHL Social Media, Club Social, Rightsholders and others, ensuring content is captured, organized, and delivered efficiently to maximize coverage and engagement

This is a unique opportunity to work under the Manager, Social Media Programs in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with the NHL’s Live Social Contributor (LSC) Program and in office social production team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic. They should possess excellent communication skills, be agile, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and have outstanding attention to detail.

They will have extensive experience with the operational functions of content production. Flexible hours and a strong work ethic are expected.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage nightly content assignments for 60+ Live Social Contributors
- Collaborate with internal departments and key stakeholders to execute LSC content capture and social media productions at NHL tentpole events, including Winter Classic, Stadium Series, NHL Combine, NHL Draft, etc.
- Support operations of the collection, organization, and delivery of large volumes of content from creators and production teams to NHL Social Media and key stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze content performance of LSC posts to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities that inform publishing and content strategies
- Develop and circulate documentation outlining LSC guides and best practices
- Aid in managing the logistical and administrative operations of original NHL Social Media productions
- Support the recruitment, onboarding,



and season-long scheduling of LSCs across NHL markets
- Flexibility to be staffed for days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required based on the game and event schedule

Qualifications Required

- 2-3 years of experience in social media and content production, supporting on-site content capture, production operations, and event logistics, experience in professional sports, live events, or entertainment a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in fast-paced, live-production environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, works well under deadline and in fast-paced situations while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and independently.
- Strong understanding of the social media landscape and strategies including social trends, pop culture and other new and emerging platforms.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Experience using Greenfly or similar asset management system and Basic Adobe Creative Cloud skills a plus.
- Thorough understanding of the hockey landscape with general hockey knowledge preferred but not required.
