The successful candidate will be responsible for the protected and timely transportation of medical specimens from NL Health Services from Corner Brook, NL to Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, from 6:30pm to 1:30am.

This position requires a dependable individual who understands the importance of confidentiality, professionalism, safe driving, and maintaining scheduled delivery times, particularly when transporting time-sensitive medical materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely transport medical specimens between designated NL Health Services locations.
- Follow established pickup and delivery schedules.
- Properly handle and secure medical specimen containers during transportation.
- Complete required trip and delivery documentation.
- Use a mobile phone and cellular data to complete required mobile app information and communicate with dispatch.
- Maintain professional communication with NL Health Services staff and Rudy’s Transportation management.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow company policies, transportation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Applicants must:

- Hold a valid Class 5 Newfoundland & Labrador Driver’s License
- Provide a clean driver's abstract.
- Provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Have a reliable cell phone with cellular data.
- Be comfortable using mobile applications for work-related documentation.




- Be a dependable and responsible driver with strong time-management skills.
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Be capable and comfortable driving longer highway routes.
- Be able to safely operate a vehicle in varying Newfoundland weather and road conditions, including rain, snow, wind and winter driving conditions.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when transporting medical specimens.

Compensation Starting wage: $19.00 per hour

Hours: 56 Hours Bi-weekly
