Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Crew Member to join our team at OPA! of Greece. As a Crew Member, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations and ensuring our guests receive excellent food and service.

The ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks throughout the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately in person and through the POS system.
- Process cash, debit, credit, and other payments accurately.
- Prepare food according to OPA! of Greece recipes, standards, and portion sizes.
- Prepare and assemble menu items including pitas, souvlaki, salads, rice, potatoes, sauces, and other menu items.
- Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other restaurant equipment safely.
- Follow proper food handling, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, counters, equipment, and washrooms.
- Restock food, packaging, beverages, and other supplies as required.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and ingredient setup.
- Receive, organize, and store deliveries properly.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Complete cleaning and closing checklists.
- Handle takeout, delivery, and catering orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure orders are properly packaged and complete before being handed to customers or delivery drivers.
- Work effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality and speed of service.
- Follow all company policies, health and safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Support other team members and assist wherever needed to keep the restaurant running smoothly.





All-Around QSR Responsibilities As a Crew Member, you should be willing and able to work in all areas of the restaurant, including:
- Front counter and customer service
- POS and cash handling
- Food preparation
- Grill and hot line
- Fry station
- Salad and cold preparation
- Order assembly and packaging
- Dining room
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning and sanitation
- Restocking
- Receiving and storing deliveries
- Opening and closing procedures
- Takeout and delivery orders
- Catering preparation and organization

Qualifications & Skills
- Previous QSR, rapid-food, restaurant, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable performing different tasks throughout the restaurant.
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and cleaning.

You should be comfortable moving between the front counter, kitchen, prep area, cleaning, and other duties throughout your shift. At OPA!, every team member is an all-around team player. Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
