Role Description

We are hiring a Crypto Markets Analyst to support cryptocurrency market research, digital asset analysis, sector intelligence, and strategic decision-making.

The role focuses on Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, exchanges, derivatives, and broader Web3 market trends. It does not require personal investing, personal trading accounts, or independent control of client wallets.

Responsibilities

Analyze cryptocurrency market structure, liquidity, volatility, trading volume, exchange flows, and sector performance

Research Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi protocols, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks, and tokenized assets

Prepare market reports, sector reviews, dashboards, and strategic research

Monitor funding rates, open interest, liquidations, stablecoin activity, token unlocks, and protocol developments

Evaluate digital assets based on liquidity, tokenomics, adoption, ecosystem strength, governance, and risk

Track institutional adoption, regulatory developments, security incidents, and emerging Web3 trends

Support strategy, research, portfolio, and business teams with digital asset market intelligence

Qualifications

Experience or strong practical knowledge in cryptocurrency, digital assets,



market research, fintech, trading analysis, or investment research

Strong understanding of crypto markets, liquidity, volatility, stablecoins, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystems

Ability to analyze market data, protocol metrics, exchange activity, and on-chain indicators

Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills

Candidates must be legally authorized to work remotely from Canada

Preferred Background

Experience with a blockchain company, cryptocurrency exchange, digital asset fund, fintech company, trading firm, or research organization

Familiarity with TradingView, DefiLlama, Dune, Token Terminal, Glassnode, CryptoQuant, Nansen, Arkham, Etherscan, Coinglass, Excel, Python, or SQL

Understanding of derivatives, token economics, DeFi liquidity, on-chain analytics, and digital asset risk
