What You'll Do

- Be the insights lead and category advisor for Loblaws, building trusted relationships with buyers and serving as a confident, credible face of the insights team.
- Turn Nielsen, LDIA—the Loblaws customer data platform—and other customer or syndicated data into compelling stories that reveal what is happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
- Lead category reviews, start-sell conversations, and planogram reset work, shaping recommendations for innovation, assortment, shelving, and total category growth.
- Evaluate SKU performance and incrementality, then bring forward transparent, unbiased recommendations that help customers make better shelf and space decisions.
- Bring recommendations to life by building shelf examples and showing buyers how the data translates into an actionable in-store strategy.
- Equip the sales team with insights for customer negotiations, playbooks, and business conversations—including share-of-shelf analyses—while helping them understand the commercial implication behind the numbers.
- Stay close to customer needs, proactively uncover opportunities, and challenge assumptions with the integrity to recommend what is best for the total category.

- Collaborate across the insights team and with GIC Mumbai colleagues who support data pulls and tactical analysis.

- Demonstrated experience using Nielsen and LDIA, along with other customer-specific or syndicated data, to develop business cases and recommendations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong English-speaking communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with buyers, sales partners, and stakeholders at different levels.
