- Pay Rate: C$50.00–C$60.00 / Hour (CAD)
- Shift / Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Job Summary This Data Analyst role sits within an analytics and insights group that is exposed to the newest tools and technologies in AI, automation, and advanced analytics. The team is working at the forefront of impactful projects, and the successful candidate will be engaged in analytics, insights, and
AI initiatives that represent some of the most cutting-edge work being done in the organization. The role is mat leave coverage supporting a 15-member team, with some training provided.
The contractor will have access to customer data and will interact primarily with internal stakeholders, spending approximately 5–10 hours weekly in meetings. Performance will be measured by deliverables, quality of work, and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Business to identify and assess AI, automation, and analytics opportunities.
- Design, prototype, test, and implement solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and related approved technologies.
- Translate business requirements and manual processes into AI-enabled agents, automated workflows, and decision-support solutions.
- Conduct process and data exploration to assess use-case feasibility, data readiness, integration needs, risks, controls, and expected value.
- Independently manage assigned initiatives from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, documentation, implementation, and user adoption.
- Provide data analysis and actionable insights in response to ongoing and ad hoc business needs.
- Collaborate with business and control partners to ensure solutions comply with applicable AI, data, risk, privacy, and governance requirements.
- Develop reusable solution patterns and documentation to support responsible and scalable adoption of AI and automation.
Required Skills
- Python, SQL, and experience using large language models (LLMs)
- Experience using AI automation
- Stakeholder management
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Analytics and insights function experience
- Experience with AI — generative or agent-based AI solutions
- Attention to detail
- Time management, highly organized, sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Skills
- Previous banking or financial institution (FI) experience
Required Experience
- 5–7 years of overall experience in a data analyst or related analytics and insights role
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, and large language models
- Minimum 5 years of experience using AI automation
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Previous experience working at a financial institution
Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education — any field
