About The Role The Data Analyst (L2) within the Diamond department at Sanofi is a pivotal role responsible for managing, analyzing, and transforming complex commercial data into AI-ready, trusted assets that inform strategic business decisions across US Brands. Reporting directly to the Sales and Demand Insights Data Product Manager, this position sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and AI enablement.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of data management, hands-on AI fluency, and a dedicated commitment to Sanofi’s AI-Ready Data principles: Understood, Trusted, Safe, and Shared. The role involves leveraging advanced AI and machine learning tools to identify patterns and generate actionable insights, developing and maintaining high-quality datasets, and ensuring data governance and quality standards are upheld. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that integrate AI capabilities such as predictive modeling, sales forecasting,



and segmentation, ultimately supporting the company's strategic commercial objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data management
- Expert proficiency in SQL and data querying techniques
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, AI, and ML workflows
- Hands-on experience building or consuming AI-ready datasets and working with AI/ML platforms
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles, including bias mitigation, fairness, and transparency
- Experience with data warehousing, Snowflake, ETL and ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong team collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in agile environments

Responsibilities

- Leverage AI and machine learning tools, including generative AI and statistical models, to identify patterns and high-leverage insights from large datasets
- Develop and maintain structured, governed, and AI-ready datasets aligned with Sanofi’s standards
- Apply Responsible AI principles to ensure transparency, fairness, and ethical use in analytics solutions
- Explore opportunities to integrate AI and ML capabilities such as predictive modeling, sales forecasting, and segmentation into business processes
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support commercial decision-making




- Challenge conventional wisdom through data-driven insights and influence project strategies
- Design and define data ingestion processes, ensuring efficient data flow within Sanofi’s Data Mesh architecture
- Build and maintain data pipelines that meet quality, governance, and discoverability standards
- Implement and monitor Data Quality rules, ensuring datasets meet accuracy, completeness, and timeliness standards
- Support data classification, privacy, and access policies in compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards
- Proactively monitor industry trends, identify new opportunities for data leveraging, and incorporate external data sources to enrich insights
