Full Description

As a Data Annotator at Hiredbuddy, you will be an essential part of our data operations team, working remotely to prepare and maintain structured datasets that support various business applications. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, methodical, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced setting.

Your primary responsibility will be to review raw data—such as images, text, audio, or video—and apply predefined labels or categories according to strict guidelines. You will work with annotation tools and platforms, ensuring each data point is correctly tagged and meets quality standards. Accuracy is critical, so you will also perform regular quality checks to identify and correct errors, helping maintain the integrity of our datasets.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive training and clear instructions for each project. You will collaborate with team leads and peers through daily stand-ups and shared communication channels, ensuring alignment on goals and expectations. As you become more proficient, you may be asked to help refine annotation guidelines or assist in onboarding new team members.





We are looking for someone who is comfortable with repetitive tasks but understands the importance of precision. You should be able to follow complex instructions, adapt to changing requirements, and manage your time effectively in a remote environment. Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets and basic data entry, is essential. Experience with annotation tools (such as Labelbox, Supervisely, or custom platforms) is a plus but not required.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in data entry, data annotation, or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office or Google Suite
- Ability to follow guidelines and workflows precisely
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
