Job Overview

Issa Jatt Carrier Inc. is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking Independent Delivery Drivers / Owner-Operators with their own commercial cargo vans to join our team in Timmins, ON.

You will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering packages safely and efficiently to residential and commercial customers across assigned local routes. We offer a competitive pay-per-parcel structure, allowing driven operators to earn an average of $7,000 CAD per month based on performance and volume.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load, sort, and organize parcels in your vehicle according to your daily assigned route.
- Deliver a high volume of packages to residential and commercial addresses in Timmins and surrounding areas.
- Use mobile apps for navigation, barcode scanning, signature capture, and delivery verification.
- Provide qualified, polite, and customer-focused service at every delivery drop-off.
- Follow all road safety laws, municipal parking regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily route dispatches within expected time windows.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Required Vehicle: Must own, lease, or rent a reliable full-size Commercial Cargo Van (e.g., Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Chevrolet BrightDrop, or equivalent high-capacity van). Note: Sedans, SUVs, minivans, and pickup trucks are not suitable for this volume.
- Valid Drivers License: Valid Ontario Class G/G2 (or equivalent commercial drivers license) with a clean driving abstract.
- Insurance & Registration: Valid commercial vehicle insurance and up-to-date vehicle registration.
- Smartphone: Reliable smartphone (iOS or Android) with a data plan for GPS routing and scanning apps.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard criminal background check.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work comfortably in varying Northern Ontario weather conditions.
- Attributes: Strong time-management skills, punctuality, and route navigation familiarity around Timmins.
