Role Description The Demolition Laborer is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC. In this position, the Demolition Laborer assists with the safe demolition, deconstruction, and stripping of interior and exterior building components. Daily tasks include handling tools and equipment, sorting and moving materials for recycling, loading and unloading debris, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

The role also involves following safety procedures, using personal protective equipment,



and supporting the demolition team in completing projects on schedule.

The Demolition

Laborer may perform manual labor such as lifting, carrying, and breaking down materials under the guidance of site supervisors.

Qualifications

- Experience or strong interest in demolition, construction, or general labor work.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn secure work practices and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working on feet for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Commitment to environmental responsibility, including proper sorting and handling of recyclable materials.
- Availability to work full-time hours and adapt to varying site conditions and project needs.
- Previous experience on construction or demolition sites and familiarity with personal protective equipment is an asset.
