Position Summary

Working closely with dentists and the broader dental team, you will support the delivery of efficient, high-quality patient care throughout the day.

This role includes chairside assisting, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, supporting patients before and during procedures, and helping ensure the clinic operates smoothly and efficiently.





This is a great opportunity for a Dental Assistant looking to join a collaborative practice with a robust focus on patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control standards.
- Support patients before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Take and process dental X-rays where permitted and appropriately certified.
- Assist with impressions, models, and other clinical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update clinical information.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Dental Assistant certification or training is considered an asset.
- Experience working within a general or family dental practice is considered an asset.
- Dental radiography certification is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
