Our rapidly growing, family-owned pediatric and orthodontic dental practice is looking for a friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, and compassionate HARP-certified Level II Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting our doctors and dental team while helping ensure our patients and their families have an excellent experience at every visit.

We are looking for someone who is warm, patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to make both children and their parents/guardians feel comfortable are especially important in our practice.

Responsibilities As a Level II Dental Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide chairside dental assisting for pediatric dental and orthodontic procedures
- Assist the dentist and orthodontist during patient appointments
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Take digital clinical photographs
- Take digital impressions and intraoral scans
- Complete patient charting and maintain accurate digital dental records
- Audit patient charts and prepare charts for the following day's appointments
- File and retrieve digital patient charts
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare dental operatories
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments
- Assist with dental and orthodontic supplies and inventory management
- Provide patients and parents/guardians with post-operative and oral hygiene instructions
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pediatric dental environment
- Follow proper infection prevention and control procedures
- Assist the doctors and dental team with other clinical duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Level II Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)
- HARP certification
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to work Monday to Thursday, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working with children and communicating with parents/guardians
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
New graduates are welcome to apply! Previous dental assisting, pediatric dentistry, or orthodontic experience is considered a great asset.
Compensation
- Hourly wage will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
