We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and skilled Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental team on a part-time basis.
The regular schedule will be Monday through Wednesday, with opportunities for 1–2 Saturdays per month. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent patient care while supporting the dentist and the rest of the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and set up treatment rooms and clinical instruments
- Take dental radiographs as required
- Perform chairside assisting and provide support throughout patient appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas according to infection prevention and control standards
- Prepare dental materials and maintain clinical supplies
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions
- Assist with patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Follow all applicable infection control, health, and safety standards
- Support the dental team with other clinical and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- Level II Dental Assistant certification
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Tracker Software knowledge is preferred
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, and organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work 1–2 Saturdays per month
