Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient procedures
- Assist dentists during exams, cleanings, orthodontic adjustments, and other dental treatments with precision and care
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images while following safety protocols
- Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Epic or Dentrix, documenting procedures accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, and handling patient inquiries
- Maintain a clean,



organized workspace adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations

Experience

- Previous experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication with team members and patients
- Experience working with pediatric patients or in orthodontic settings is advantageous
- Basic understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools used in orthodontics or prosthodontics is a bonus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Certification in dental assisting or related fields is desirable but not mandatory; ongoing training opportunities are available
