Elevate human rights legislation as the Deputy Legal Director for the Ontario Human Rights Commission in Toronto. Provide expert legal guidance while promoting equity and inclusion. In this leadership role, you will guide the Legal Services and Inquiries Branch in delivering top-notch legal services across human rights matters.
Your exceptional judgement and analytical skills will support litigation and inquiries related to the Ontario Human Rights Code. You will also oversee mentorship, human resources, and ensure quality client service while fostering a collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead legal teams to deliver high-quality advice
- Oversee complex litigation before courts and tribunals
- Provide innovative legal solutions on sensitive issues
- Manage recruitment, performance, and succession planning
- Develop reports and briefings for executive leadership Requirements:
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
