Essential Duties

- Ensure the supply and delivery of materials to the supported work areas.

- Assist the operator in setting up Jumbo Bolters in work areas and perform basic maintenance tasks.

- Maintain mine refuges, material bays, and fuel bays.

- Operate equipment such as a material truck, Jeep, tractor, and wheel loader.

- Follow, understand, and promote company policies and regulations, particularly those related to health and safety.

- Perform all other duties related to the position as required.

Training & Experience

- High school diploma and/or a combination of education and relevant experience.

- 0 to 2 years of experience in underground mining.

- Completion of Mining Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7.

- Valid explosives permit and valid driver's license.

- Bilingualism in French and English (an asset).

Working Conditions

- Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)

- Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
