The Director of Product Operations is a senior leader responsible for the operational backbone of a complex, fast-growing portfolio of legal technology solutions.
Reporting into product leadership, this role sets the operating model for how the product organization plans, executes, and learns while partnering with product management, engineering,UX, data, marketing, and go-to-market leaders to translate strategy into a repeatable, high-performing rhythm. A unified Product Playbook — the definitive, living standard for how Litera’s product teams roadmap, discover, plan, and launch — continuously refined and embedded into tools and onboarding so quality scales with the organization. Strategic roadmap alignment that connects product investment to business priorities, ensuring sequencing is clear, decisions traceable, and the organization moves with intent.
Data-driven insights and reporting that give senior leaders the visibility they need to make confident decisions on resource allocation, delivery health, and portfolio performance. Executive-ready narratives and communications that translate complex operational detail into clear decisions and actions for senior leadership, board members, and key stakeholders. 10+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, or Program Management within technology or SaaS organizations, including 3+ years leading teams or programs at scale.
~ Proven experience building and scaling product operating models, playbooks, and planning cadences across complex, multi-product portfolios. ~ Track record of leading cross-functional programs and influencing senior stakeholders across product, engineering, UX, customer success, and go-to-market. ~ Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills — able to synthesize data, design frameworks, and drive measurable operational improvement. ~ Experience in legal technology, compliance, or other regulated industries.
Background in product management, agile coaching, or UX operations.
Experience leading change management and scaling organizations through high-growth phases.

This role is also eligible to participate in a company bonus plan. In addition to base salary, Litera offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and incentive and recognition programs. The base salary range for this role is $190,000 to $219,000 CAD with additional eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.
