Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash dishes, knives, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques and tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, and floors, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed, supporting the butcher shop team in maintaining a hygienic workspace.
- Support butcher shop operations by ensuring everything is clean, readily available and put away in its proper places
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures and manage recycling efforts to promote an eco-friendly environment.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with butcher shop staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods.
- Work independently after hours to complete cleaning duties.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards within a butcher shop, restaurant or hospitality setting.




- Previous experience in butchering, food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle food safely and understand basic food handling practices.
- Experience with food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $15.35-$18.00 per hour
