Position Overview

Gaspar Brasserie Française is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to become an important part of the kitchen team. The right candidate will help maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organized workspace while ensuring the culinary team always has the equipment and tableware needed to deliver smooth service.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the continuous flow of dishes, cookware, glassware, and utensils throughout service
- Wash, sanitize, dry, and organize kitchen and dining equipment
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect cleaned items and ensure they are ready for immediate use
- Keep the dish station organized and prepared for high-volume periods
- Maintain cleanliness of sinks, racks, counters, floors, and surrounding kitchen areas
- Assist with cleaning pots, pans, trays, and other culinary equipment
- Keep clean dishes and cookware properly organized for quick access
- Support kitchen staff with cleanup and other practical tasks when needed
- Handle garbage and recycling according to workplace procedures
- Monitor dishwashing and cleaning supplies and report shortages promptly
- Help maintain safe, uncluttered walkways and work areas
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Assist with opening preparation, closing duties, and detailed end-of-shift cleaning

What We're Looking For
- Previous dishwasher, kitchen, or restaurant experience is an asset
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance




- Comfortable working efficiently during busy service periods
- Able to perform repetitive and physically active duties
- Good awareness of cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Able to follow instructions and maintain consistent standards

About Gaspar Brasserie Française Gaspar Brasserie Française brings a classic French-inspired dining atmosphere together with attentive hospitality and a dedicated culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a key behind-the-scenes role by keeping cookware, tableware, and kitchen workspaces clean and ready, helping the entire restaurant maintain an efficient and professional service.

Pay: $16.60-$22.94 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
