Role Description The Dispatch Coordinator is a full-time, in office role based in West Saint Paul, MB. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating drivers and vehicles, assigning routes, and monitoring daily operations to ensure timely and safe service.

The Dispatch

Coordinator will respond to calls and messages from drivers and customers, provide clear instructions, and resolve scheduling or routing issues as they arise. The role includes updating dispatch and trip information in internal systems, maintaining accurate records, and communicating service changes or delays to customers.

Coordinator will collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support equipment availability and service reliability.

Qualifications

- Strong dispatching and coordination skills, with experience managing routes and driver schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally.
- Proven ability as a skilled multi-tasker, managing multiple calls, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Accurate data entry skills and familiarity with dispatch or transportation management software.
- Knowledge of transportation or logistics operations is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment under time pressure.
- Ability to work on-site full time in West Saint Paul, MB and collaborate effectively with drivers and operations staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in logistics, transportation, or a related field is an advantage.
