Duties

- Lead safe, fun, and educational scuba diving lessons and guided dives for individuals and groups of varying experience levels
- Ensure all participants understand safety procedures, equipment use, and diving techniques through clear, enthusiastic instruction
- Assist customers in selecting diving gear, accessories, and training packages that meet their needs and skill levels
- Promote our dive courses, equipment rentals, and retail items to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities
- Maintain safety standards by conducting pre-dive equipment checks and monitoring divers throughout their underwater experience
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering guidance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests




- Keep accurate records of training sessions, sales transactions, and equipment inventory to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

- Proven experience in teaching or instructing diving activities with a focus on safety and engagement
- Strong cold-water diving skills with the ability to teach the PADI Drysuit Diver Specialty course.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively teach new skills and connect with customers from diverse backgrounds
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for ocean exploration and educating others about marine environments
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high energy levels throughout shifts
- Certification as a scuba instructor (PADI Open Water Instructor) is highly preferred
- Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
