Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, skilled, Full-Time Dock Builder to construct, install, and maintain high-quality marine structures. This hands-on outdoor role requires technical carpentry, physical stamina, and strict adherence to marine safety. You will learn the "Seaco Marine Way" of building, working alongside engineers, architects, and seasoned trade professionals.

Key Responsibilities

- Construction: Build, install, and repair docks, piers, pilings, and anchoring systems.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Equipment & Tools: Operate hand/power tools, forklifts, skid steers, and marine workboats.
- Site Management: Maintain a clean,



organized job site and manage tool/material inventory.
- Quality & Safety: Conduct safety inspections and verify compliance with local building codes.
- Mentorship: Train and mentor junior builders as your career progresses.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Proven background in marine construction, heavy carpentry, or a related trade.
- Physical Fitness: Exceptional stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials in variable outdoor weather.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of construction techniques, welding, rigging, or helical pile driving.
- Mindset: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and immense pride in craftsmanship.
- Problem Solving: Critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot existing waterfront structures.

Licenses & Certifications

- Valid Driver’s License (Class 3 highly preferred).
- Clean driving record.
- Valid Boating License (or willingness to obtain).
- Forklift / Skid Steer certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $17.42-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
