Position to start immediately.

The Boys and Girls Club of Yarmouth is seeking a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) to join our team.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with benefits.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a safe, inclusive, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children. The position may involve working with children ranging in age from infants to 5 years old.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage with children in a positive and professional manner.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning setting.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Follow licensing regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with educators and other team members.
- Support daily routines, transitions, meals, rest periods, and other classroom needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment.

Qualifications





- Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
- Experience working with young children is an asset.
- Ability to work with children ranging from infants to 5 years of age.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with children.

Required Documentation

Successful applicants must provide

- A current Child Abuse Registry check.
- A current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- A valid First Aid Certificate.
- Proof of ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification.
